scary story

The Fairways Park used to be the place everyone looked forward to going to. The kids would run joyfully from ride to ride, game to game.  The park was a hit for everyone. For the couples on the Ferris wheel. The gleeful smiles of the little kids as balloon animals were formed. Laughs were exchanged as families dressed up for the photo booth. There were happy and cheerful colors everywhere. It seemed like there was almost always perfect weather on the days it was open. During the holidays there would be different activities to be part of. It was the hit of the town, all year round. It was so good that people would travel from out of town for a day of fun. It was so happy and cheerful that the kids weren’t even afraid of the clowns.
The park was closed now. It had been for a while now. No one really knows what happened.  Some say that it was foreclosure. Others say that the owner was murdered. Others say he just moved away and wasn’t able to sell it. Ever since then the weather seemed to have a creepy, eerie chill and it was always cloudy.
Families didn’t come anymore. The kids would run for their lives. Hiding from the clowns that chased them with bloody knives. There were no more bright and cheery colors. Everything was worn down. Some things had rust, others were blackened with dirt. Most of the stands were knocked over. So was the Ferris wheel. Whenever the wind would blow, the wheel would make a back-crawling screech as it spun. The old music box from the magic show, had been knocked onto the ground and slightly broken. It still played music, but much slower and like a broken record. Blood would drip out of the cracks of the teacup ride cups. Sometimes people who lived a few miles away would claim to hear screams coming from the park. Some people say that the screams come from innocent victims who were just passing through the town. But nobody, not even the police, was brave enough to go in to find out for sure. Sometimes teenagers would go in on dares but come running out screaming as they ran. It is said that someone was hung and that the body is still there hanging in the house of mirrors. But no one has gone in to see for certain.

  2. RAVEN. NO. THIS IS NOT OKAY. THIS IS MY NIGHTMARE MAN. NOPE. NOPE. NOT OKAY.

Despite this, the story was very good! VERY CREEPY. I enjoyed and hated it (since its like my worst nightmare) at the same time. Props. Props. I'll never be able to ride the teacups without thinking of blood dripping in/from them. ._.

    I enjoy your face. :3

  3. This is interesting to me! My husband and I think Silver Dollar City would be the perfect setting for a horror movie. Like some cult in the 1800s wear mixed in with the employees and you can't tell who is bad and who is not. All sorts of bad things could happen on the rides or in the blacksmith area or in those giant skillets. You have my permission to take that idea and turn it into a screenplay! : )
